Kyo Kouyoku
東京生まれ。大学を卒業後に写真やデザインを実践で学びはじめ、2021年に設立したクリエイティブプロダクションである株式会社アプログラフィに所属。ジャンルを問わず様々なクライアントとの仕事に取り組む傍ら、目の前に広がる美しい風景や社会の日常、文化や伝統が生み出す儚い瞬間の断片を追いかけて写真として切り取る事をライフワークとしており、観る人にその一枚の写真からひとつの物語を想像させる映画的な作風が評価されている。
I'm a photographer based in Tokyo. After graduating from university, he began learning photography and design through practice, and joined APPROGRAPHY Co., Ltd. a creative production company in 2021. While working with a variety of clients across genres, he has made it his life's work to capture the beautiful landscapes that unfold before his eyes, the everyday life of society, and the ephemeral moments created by culture and tradition, capturing them in photographs. His cinematic style has been praised for allowing viewers to imagine a story from a single photograph.
